Okay. So we had opening night. It wasn't too bad, considering the talent that's in the play (*cough*me*cough*) and the five main actors were (duh) amazing! My dad came to see it, and I think it went pretty well.
My teacher said she could finally hear me over the sound effects. Which, when you think about it, its pretty sad that she couldn't hear me. The two things I would think that nobody would ever tell me is to be louder, and to talk deeper, but, of course, my drama teacher had to tell them to me. *sigh*
Other than that, the lines were remember, the cues were smooth .. and pretty much, it was an awesome show. :)
Just got back from a 14 hour day.
6:15 a.m. - zero period.
7:30 - 2:30 - regular school hours.
2:30 - 8:00 - Othello practice.
Oh boy. Isn't my life exciting. o.0
But ya know what? I like my days. I enjoy my zero period class, so waking up at five really isn't so bad. Also, I enjoy Othello. Even though I only have two lines, it's still fun to dress up as a soldier and pull guns on people, and get involved in knife fights. Just things I would never do in real life, haha.
It's awesome though, because we're reading Richard III in English. So funny. I was reading for Anne, and my friend was playing for Richard. Anne is so funny when she's mad. And Richard is just .. creepy. But that's why its fun.
Okie dokie. Sadly, my favorite class of the day is still zero period. Even though it's killer to wake up at five for that class, I think I've gotten used to it by now. We did these equations on the mathematical advantage of things like pulleys and stuff, but I finished that, and the only other assignment to do right now is design a child lock. Very interesting, I know.
Spanish isn't too bad, either. My teacher set up an account on Quia so I've been studying everyday using that site. It's actually pretty awesome.
In P.E. we're playing softball, which is so much better than soccer. There are three girls that nearly kick you in the head every five seconds. Not fun. But I can't wait until football, which we'll be playing in, like, January or something. That should be fun, just as long as we get coed teams, ya know?
I finished my imitative writing for English, which took forever. I stayed up until almost eleven to get that thing done, and then I realized that I used "thy" incorrectly. Gahh. But its not so bad because I already read mine outloud and stuff. Yayy.
Another thing I'm really excited about is Halloween. I've decided that I'm going to dress up as Baby Spice from the Spice Girls! Of course, this costume is only going to be for my friend's party which is actually two weeks before Halloween. Same difference, though. :)
