Summer School

YAY!!! even though we got off to a rcoky start, summer school's been really great. It's been a lot of work because we've been doing at least one essay a day, and then we have to go into the computer lab, and do a report and a powerpoint... but its cool anyways...

We've made a lot of friends too. :D

Grad Poem

Just a lil something i came up with while looking through my year book.

As I sit here today,

I wonder what will come,

I’ve found myself so touched by my friends,

And can’t imagine a way to say,

This past year has been grand,

Growing together and closer,

I’ve made new friends,

And kept the old,

We’ve learned to trust,

And be honest with one another,

There’ve been the old times,

And all the little things we’ll remember

The little jokes,

The tiny smiles,

Encouragement,

And friendships,

You’ve all changed my life,

Mostly for the better,

And all I can hope,

Is that each one of you,

Will find new friends,

But remember the old,

Keep in mind,

All the people you’ve affected,

And remember,

That I love you more,

Than you could ever know.

YAY!!

Okay, so yesterday we went to MM, rite? Okay, so we left the school at about 10:00, which meant that we got there a little before 11. Kat, Candice, Kelli and I wanted to go together, and they decided that they wanted to go on X. The line thingy said that it would only be about two hours, so we got in line, and... four hours later we got off the ride. Yeah, so after that, we got lunch (pizza) and then we went on a whole bunch of little rides (scrambler, this circus thingy, the swings...) and then we went on Batman. After that, candice and kat went on the big circle thing where u get pushed against the wall as you spin. Then it was about time to go meet the school at the waterfall, and we did that, got back on the bus, and left!!! :D

the play

yeah, so we did this play at school...

ya, okay, so like we had to be there 1/2 hour early to set up n stuff like that, so i changed into my stuff (i put pj pants over my jeans) and put my hair in pig tails. then, i went out to the stage and just hung w/ people. at about 6, they started the play, and the little 6th graders started, and did their whole thing, then more ppl went on, and we sang a whole bunch or weirdo songs. hehe, ya. and finally it was our part to go out, so jenny and andy went out on stage, and then colleen, candice and i went out, and then we started singing, and jenny was supposed to be our 'mom' and we were supposed to be switching off between us all singing, and it just being jenny. but there was this one part, where we got mixed up, and jenny started singing her solo part, but it was off timing, so then she had to go back, but by then it was actually at the part she was supposed to sing, but we didnt know what line it was, and candice started singing the line, but quietly, and she was by me, so i started singing it, so jenny could pick it up, which she did. there was this 'instrumental break' when jenny and i did this dance we made up, while colleen and candice 'dressed' paul revere (who was our 'dad') ya, ill show u the dance next time i see u. :D so then we went off stage, and the continued with the play, but there was this one part when elizabeth dougherty was supposed to mention how 'first its tea, and then its those funny bunny slippers that keep you oh so cozy in the winter' but she forgot her line, so it was... odd. ya, then then we did some other songs, and then we (candice andy and i) went out to do our "colonist" part. we did that okay, but when we got to
the song, we were quiet, and ms. nardi was in the back, trying to get
us to dance, so all of a sudden, i started 'dancing' for like, five
seconds... and then i stopped... it was SO horrible!! lolx yeah, and
then they finished the play, and at the end, ryan and chad ran through the 'backdrop' riping it in half. lolx, it was really funny, but they had a good time. yeah, and then we ate dinner, which was okay,

I know I'm dreaming but...

the perfect guy...

i want a guy---
who can wrestle with me
and let me win.
who i can talk to about anything
who laughs at my jokes.
a boy who puts my cold hands
in his warm hoodie pockets.
who lets me use his sweatshirt
for a pillow.
who buys me 25 cent rings,
and sticky hands.
who says i love you & means it.
who will kiss me in the rain,
in the sunshine, and in the snow.
whos calls unexpectedly.
who will have many inside jokes
with me and remember each one.
a boy who notices haircuts.
who realizes that i say things
but dont always mean them.
who shows up at my games,
slipping in the door.
who i can go swimming with
on hot days.
who can tell me his problems
and let me help.
who will listen to me talk--
about the new nail polish i got.
who will bring me seashells
from the beach.
who will let me beat him up
when i get angry.
who writes love letters to me,
but doesnt send them.
who draws pictures and slips them
gently into my locker slot.
who saves his genuine, big smiles for me.
a boy with deeps eyes,
that can see through faces into depths.
who wears baseball hats and
lets me wear his too.
who gives me his t-shirt to change into
and not expect to get it back.
who knows my favorite color, song,
car, vegetable, perfume and
the color of my toothbrush.
a boy who will shake my dads hand
and look my mother in the eye.
who will call me by my full name--
first, middle and last.
a boy who will kiss me and
tell me im pretty.
a boy who will let me cry to him.
who will squeeze my hips just right.
who suprises me and compliments
my manicure and plays with my hair.
who knows when i have a math test
or when i fail one.
a boy who smells like
he just stepped out of the shower.
who wears cologne that i can subtly
smell when im leaning on his shoulder.
who tells me i have a nice laugh
and a smile that light up the room
and simply be mine to hold.

Pepsi

Yeah, I saw this forward, and wanted to post it.

Don't buy Pepsi in the new can. Pepsi has a new "patriotic" can coming out with pictures of the Empire State Building, and the Pledge of Allegiance on them. However, Pepsi left out two little words on the pledge, "Under God." Pepsi said they didn't want to offend anyone. In that case, we don't want to offend anyone at the Pepsi corporate office, either.. So if we don't buy any Pepsi product, they will not be offended when they don't receive our money that has the words "In God We Trust" on it. HOW FAST CAN YOU FORWARD THIS ONE?

Museum of Tolerence

YAY!!! Today we went to the M of T. It was pretty scary, but I had a good time and learned a lot. I guess we only did two-thirds of the tour because we left school late, but it was okay.
