YAY!! So Beth and I went with our church to Forest Home Lakeview. w00t w00t!! It's FINALLY the highschool camp. Anyway, so we left on Sunday at like noon I think. We got there a little early and found out that we were staying at the Lakeview Lodge which is so cool cuz its right by where we eat. Our church had four cabins for the girls (there were three or four girls in each cabin) and the guys had i think one.
So, we all got settled and stuff like that. It was cool because we were right by the lake (Hence the name Lakeview) so we could go to the lake during free time if we wanted. There was also the game room and stuff like that.
The whole camp was separated into four groups. This years theme was music band things. Our group was Whyte Noyse and we were Heavy Metal. w00t w00t! The other teams were folk, emo and pop. So the four teams competed in pool comp, feild comp, mud bowl, and lake comp. We also had battle of the bands.
It was really funny though because our team was in fourth place all week except we got third once... haha, it was totally awesome.
I made a lot of friends and had a lot of fun. =D
