Rob Bushway over at Gottabemobile links to this ASUS press release about the official launch of the R2H Tablet PC.
What's so cool about the R2H? Its feature set. Not only does it have the basics: 900MHz Intel Celeron M ULV, up to 768MM RAM, 7" WXGA touch screen display, 1.8" drive up to 60GB, but it also has Bluetooth, three USB ports, an SD reader, finger print reader, 1.3 megapixel webcam, and a GPS.
The base unit comes with 256MB RAM (533 DDRII SODIMM) which is OK which is a little thin, so I imagine there will be plenty of people upgrading the memory. That's probably not a bad thing, because quite often people can get their own memory cheaper than upgrades are offered. Frys to the rescue. Too bad the memory maxes out at 768MB.
There's also no mention of price.
