The official first birthday of TabletPCPost (the end of April) is rapidly approaching. One of our secret--and not so secret goals--was to hit 100,000 downloads by the one year anniversary mark.
As of this morning TabletPCPost is at 87,329 downloads.
My guess is that we'll hit the magic download mark a month or so after TabletPCPost's first birthday. Pretty close to our one-year goal.
Increasing the download count has two ingredients: more downloads and more visitors.
With over 1,000,000 Tablets out there a crude estimate is that 100,000 or 10% have found TabletPCPost. A better number would account for people downloading more than one Tablet app--let's say on the average of four per Tablet owner. And a better number would adjust the 1,000,000 mark for actual Tablet owners, rather than Tablet boxes.
But these adjustments aside there's no doubt that TabletPCPost has found a friend in many Tablet enthusiasts. It's been a wonderful inaugural ride. Thanks everyone for the help!
