Sheet music on a Tablet PC

Sometimes the answer is right under your nose.

Bryan tried reading sheet music on the Tablet PC while playing his fiddle awhile back. He was able to read the sheet music fine, but we couldn't figure out any convenient way to turn the pages.

It turns out that in Acrobat reader when a document is displayed in full-screen mode the left mouse button goes to the previous page and the right mouse button goes to the next page. Bryan's going to have to try a mouse as a foot switch and see if this setup works.

If it does, he'll still need some easy way to open and close the PDF documents. Maybe there's a way to get the scroll buttons on the NEC LitePad's case to scroll through sheet music documents. Hmm. I wish there were more programmable buttons on the Tablet PC's case.

I'm looking up musicians who are using the new Freehand MusicPad Tablet PC. It's a heavy hit at $1000 & I'd like some feedback. I work casual dates with multiple bands and want to organize all my fake books. (Jazz, standards, etc.) Thanks, Bob
