This is the first entry of my Blog.
My brother has a blog (TuxReports), my sister runs WhatIsNew, and I track TabletPCTalk, Scoble and about a dozen other blogs several times a day. Blogs have become a very important part of how I keep track of new events and see what people are up to and thinking. So I decided to give it a try too.
My brother donated some space on TuxReports so I could test-drive this Blog stuff. Thanks!
First impressions? Well, I didn't have to do any installation of anything. My brother set up this MovableType account for me. I just had to come up with a blog name and description. Not hard at all. I quickly realized though that the default view was too plain for me. I don't know what I was expecting, but I thought there would have been a drop list of templates or something. Nope. I have to edit the css style sheet. Ugh. I managed to change the banner a little and adjust the text width, but this blog is going to stay like the default layout for now, because the clock is ticking.
Let's see how it goes.
