So, I'm here at dad's bored to death, and yesterday, they said,"Kim, come out here."
so I did. and there was a chocolate chihuahua named Taquito. He's the sweetest little thing you'll ever meet, honestly. ;)
So, Taquito had neighbors that he liked very much. While his owners were away, the neighbors watched after him. He got very attached to the family nextdoor, and so when his owners came back, he ran to the neighbor's whenever he got a chance. The owners said that the next time Taquito runs to them, just don't bring him back. Although they would love to keep him, they cannot for they live in a no animal kind of apartment.
Somehow, Taquito, the 6 lb chocolate chihuahua, managed to find himself at my dad's neighbor's house, Wendy. (wendy is a friend of the neighbors, and was keeping him overnight). She told my dad + stepmom this sad story. Apparently Taquito was not abused, rather, neglected. Not being given the love or attention he really needed.
We offered Wendy that we would keep him overnight, seeing as she already has 3 dogs in her house, and we didn't want there to be alot of havoc in her house. :)
So, Taquito spent the night. At first, he was very shy and timid. He whined as if he was moaning for someone he loved so. It was a sad song to hear.
Taquito and I became alot closer through the course of the night. Our bond coming closer by every moment.
The whole family likes him, which is a major shock to most of us, because dad is not too fond of the idea of having a pet, but he really likes Taquito. We all do.
I am for sure Taquito is here to stay, dad even said so himself. :D
Ok, well, I'm too lazy to upload some of the grand canyone pictures, so, I put them on my myspae...
