It seems that Google has been no help today. rawr.
I've been searching aimlessly for a song I might consider doing for the talent show next year.
It's called 'small business blues'. I found out today tht it was written by Howard Bursen. No idea who he is, but I've been researching him...
Oh well.
Google has been no help whatsoever in my quest. All it's brought up is a few blogs and old comments on the man who wrote the song.
If you know where to find the lyrics for it, please tell me! Because all I can remeber is:

don't say america's gone lazy, it's the economy, it's gone crazy. and if we don't make a change we're gonna lose, we've got the small business blues

and little tid bits of the song like that. Oh well, back to the search engines I go!

School's Out!!!

It seems like I've been waiting for this forever. School is out!
I am no longer a 'annoying' 6th grader. I'm now in the big leagues.
Officially a 7th Grader as of 5/25/06.
I'm excited. You should see me typing right now, I'm practically bouncing off the walls.
And what a better way of celbrating an end of your first year in middle school?
A sleepover. of course.

Sedona and Confusing Fortune Cookies

So.. uh, the title pretty much explains it ...
Today, my family (aunt, nana, papa, and their dog) dragged me down to sedona. Surprisingly, it was loads of fun! It was funny to watch A.J. (the dog who we suspect is part pony because of his size) try and go into the creek. He didn't know he was stading on the end of a rock in the water, and if he moved a step, he'd fall right off into the dropoff. I suppose you get the picture .

We decided to get Chinese Food for dinner on the way back, and knowing me, I always get the confusing fortunes. Here it is so you can laugh at my bad luck and comprehension:

Gah.

I'm here yet AGAIN on these stupic school computers. Lauren is sitting next to me, as usual, and we're freezing our butts off in here because the AC is on high. So, apperently the people who created the block program our school uses had a grudge against fun. You either have to find an unknown site, or a loop hole. Neither are easy to find.
Only 4 1/2 days left of school. Only 4 1/2....

Well, happy mothers day to all.
I forgot to get my mom a gift, so I baked her cupcakes and made a coupon book instead... cheesy, I know, but you can't go wrong with cupcakes. =)
Anyways, we're having a picnic today... yay. So, that will be my day.

gah. I hate having only 2 days in a weekend...

I'm quite happy now. For a while there, our internet and Wi-Fi wasn't working... at all. =(
It's back up now, and I'm happy. Yay.
Ok, well, I must get off now because mom says to get off.. can't I ever stay on for a few hours without her bugging me about it?

Nothing Much

I'm on the school systems. They are evil. They block just about everything! Gah
I can't go onto Neopets at all, and that's not a bad site. hmph.
Oh well, time to do what I do best... find loop holes =)

Here you go. That's me. All 12 years old. Not the best, but enjoy :)

Jazz Band

It's the coolest of the coolest bands in the whole school. They play Jazz, Marches, and loads of other song... it's the Jazz Band. It's also one of the hardest things to get into.
Out of about 100 people who try out, only about 19 make it in. Eacks. You have to wake up at 6 am to go for the class itself, and on top of all that, you miss so much school that you are weighed down by loads of missed homework... gah
Despite the fact, I still want to try out for Jazz Band, but, who knows. Maybe I will make it in. And if I do, will I really play for them.
There's so many things to sacrifice, for a Jazz Band audition. I'm having second thoughts:
1) I sleep in till the last minute every morning (I could never wake up that early)
2) Mom could never wake up early, who would be my ride
3) I'm only in begging band, so it's slim chances that I'll make it in
4) and if I don't, it will crush my hopes.
There's so many things to think about... :(
I dunno if I want to audition or not now. Hmph. I'll figure it out later.
