Bloomsbury has decided to publish the first Harry Potter book, in Ancient Greek!
They said the "Well, the Latin translation was such a success," that they thought they would give Ancient Greek a try. Find out more here.
I think this is kind of strange, but it would be quite fun to learn greek just to be able to say you read Harrius Potter et Philosophi Lapis.
I went to the homecomming game last night. It was really fun! They even had fireworks when they announced who the king and queen were!
I don't know if our team won though, because I had to leave before the end of the game, but when we left we weren't winning.
My dog Sammy has a big cut on her side. It's about 5 inches long. My stepdad took her to the vet two days ago so now she has staples in it, but she has to wear this big cone around her head so that she doesn't hurt the cut.
No one knows how she got it.
Tommorrow is the homecoming football game at my highschool. I don't know If I'm going to go. I might, but then again, I might not. It should be fun!
I got my progress report a few days ago! Only one B, in Spanish, which is very difficult, so I understand why.
It's been raining the last two days! Which is good, because our class didn't have to have P.E. for one of the two days! Too bad the other day we were stuck in the rain. Oh well.
People all across the world send fan letters to their favorite celebrities, be it Daniel Radcliffe, or Julia Roberts, right? So, what about Harry Potter? Does he ever send fan letters to any of his favorite celebrities?
This thought just popped into my head when I was on JK Rowling's website. On one of the ads for a concert (in the "rumors" section) it says, send your owl to "Celestina Warbeck"
Is that how you would send a fan letter if you lived in the magical world? And, if that's the case, then why wasn't Krum flooded with owls everytime he sat down to eat at the great hall?
What do you think?
I just finished studying for my biology test. Ugh! I've so tired! There are too many strange names in biology. LOL!
Well, next time I'm going to study for my biology test earlier in the week!
Note: I have been requested to add an area where people can post there Harry Potter theories. The reason I removed this earlier was because people were posting ads... If I see the same thing happening on this post, I will delete those comments, and make it so that comments can not be posted on this topic.
Anyways, lately, JK Rowling has been posting a ton of hints on her website as to what will be coming up in future books. (If you do not know what I am talking about, here is one thing that JK Rowling gave us a hint about: Hints about Dumbledore and Letters)
So, what do you think those hints are telling us? What is going to be happening in the future Harry Potter books?
It seems to me that whenever my school has a minimum day, all the teachers give homework that takes forever!
For example, my english teacher had our class answer ten (hard) question about the story we had just read for homework. Plus, our biology teacher gave us a word search with words I'm sure we have never learned before, as the answers to the statements. Why does this happen?
JK Rowling updated her site! She answered some questions in the FAQ section, and added a little to the rumors section! Go see for yourself!
I'm talking to my aunt and my cousin and my sister on messanger at the same time! There is so much going on that I'm getting lost!
Look at how many tennis balls this dog can hold in it's mouth!

This dog, Augie, can hold up to five balls in his mouth at once! Amazing, huh?
Did you know that, the only man to be struck by lightning seven times was park ranger Roy C Sullivan, the "human lightning conductor", of Virginia, USA. The lighting strikes happened between the years of 1942 to 1977. During these strikes, Roy had his hair set alight, lost his big toe nail and eyebrows, and suffered injuries to his arms, legs, chest, and stomach. In September 1983 he killed himself, reportedly rejected in love.
I've been so bored since I came back from helping weed at the Red Cross, that I've just been sitting at my computer. I've been sitting at my desk for so long that the CD I'm listening to is playing over again for the third time.
My friend brought me back some gifts from her trip to Australia! See got me this really cool braclet, a cute keychain, and some type of candy that I'm going to try soon!
I had a good time at the fencing club's meeting. I learned a few moves!
Unluckily, we were just given the permission slip that day, and we had to have it signed to use the fencing gear and basically (except for a few minutes), we didn't get to participate in the meeting. So I didn't get to do very much.
