On The Matter Of Books

Coins!

I started collecting some coins a while ago, but I didn't have very many. I now have a canadian 1 dollar, a 2 dollar bill, and some other coins, some from Mexico... and other places. It's really cool!

Dance show!

We just had practice for the dance show yesterday. (Luckily I know all the dance! Yes!) We have practice again Thursday. (I miss a basketball game. :( )

Then the show, is Friday. :) I'm not nervious yet, but I will be soon. :( I am in all the acts,there are only 3 acts, butI'm in all of them. :)

I have 4 dances!

Basketball

Our school basketball team is on a losing streak. So far, we haven't won any of the games. :(

But, we are doing better, we could have won the last game, if we had made our tries to shoot a hoop. We ae working on that, so that's okay...

We have another game Tuesday. :) (I hope we win that one.)

Then I have to miss my next game, because of dance.

Dance!

I told you that I have a dance show, January 31, 2003. I usually would be very happy, but I don't know one of my dances. :(

Today I'm having a friend come over to show me the dance. Thankfully!

A Wind in the Willows

I have been working on a different book off of my book list for a while now. A Wind in the Willows! So far, I'm really enjoying this book!

If I was rating it out of 10, 1= lowest, and 10= highest, I think it would be an 8! That's pretty good!

Well, I really like how the book is about animals! I think it is very funny when the mole trips over a doormat in the snow, and he doesn't evn think that a house would be where a doormat is.

If you haven't read this book, I think you should. :)

Time

It has been a while since I wrote last. Sorry!

Here is what has been happening during the last week.

First, I was sick Monday, so I missed school. :( Then because I had missed school my teachers gave me so much homework. I was up until 9 PM every night just trying to finish. You would think that when your sick teachers would be easy on you. (Your not just magically well.)

Now, on to the good news! Yes! I tried out for the school basketball team, and since everyone who tried out made the team, I'm on the team! (Only 17 girls tried out. Comapared to the boy with about 30, that is not much.) Our games start tuesday. :) :( (We have been working on some plays!)

I have a dance show, on January 31, 2003, two shows for school kids, and then one show for adults! :)

For piano, I just found out that I'm one lesson ahead of the piano teachers son! That was my goal! :)

On The Matter of a Movie

Has anyone seen the new movie Harry Potter and The Chamber of Secrets?

When I read the books, I was imaging parts to be different, than they were in the movie. I also think they missed some of the important parts, and instead changed when and where the important imformation was revieled. For instance, I think that they should have shown the way Harry finds out that the book absorbs ink the correct way. (At Valentines, instead of after he should have already known.)

I don't mean that the movie was bad, (I still think the movie was great) but I wish the movie had been more like the book.

Dance

Yesterday, my sister and I missed our dance practice.

A Series of Unfortunate Events!

Besides the Harry Potter series, I also like another set of books, A Series of Unfortunate Events.

A Series of Unfortunate Events has 9 books. It's about these 3 orphans who have a large fortune. This man, Count Olaf tries to steal their fortune in every book, by putting on disguises.

This is my second favorite series!

I can't think of anything to write.

I had gotten so mad at the penguin messaging when it wouldn't let me save the privet message for later. I was trying to remember the address to the editing page for later. Now, I can't remember what I was going to say.

Harry Potter 4

I have read the 4th Harry Potter book quite a few times. I think so far I have read it about 3 or 4 times. (Not quiet sure which)

I have a record of finishing the book in 4 days! I'm hoping to beat that record soon. By the way, the 4th Harry Potter book has about 700 pages.

I really like when Harry competes in the 3 tasks. Though I think Cho should have gone to the ball with Harry.

I have written to J.K. Rowling two times, but I only received a message from Scholastic saying that they would forward the message to J.K. Rowling.

I heard somewhere that the 5th Harry Potter book may not be published until July 2003.
