Relient K

Last night I was able to see Relient K and Pillar in concert at Magic Mountain. I had a great time.

We arrived at Magic Mountain around 5 pm, and stood in line to get the tickets so that we would be let into both shows. By the time we were given the tickets for Relient K and Pillar, the line was alrady forming to see Pillar. (BTW, it was only 6 oclok, and the show didn't start till eight.) The youth pastor of our church stood in line for us while we went on a few rides.

My friend Kristi and I went on Ninja. I'm not a big fan of rollercoasters, so Nija was perfect for me. By that time it was around 7 o'clock, so we decided to ge something to eat. Unfortuanatly, while we were in line to buy our food, that line for the show started to move, and we had to run to the front of the line so we could get in with the rest of our church.

The show was okay, but I must say I prefer Relient K. Right after the show, my friend Kristi and I ran to get in line for Relient K. We wanted to get as close to the stage as possible, so that we could through the two bags of Skittles Kristi had bought on stage. Unfortunatly even though we ran, we didn't get a stop in line, until quite a way down.

Kristi and I were really exsited about seeing the show, so we waited in line while the rest of the group went of the get some food. An hour later, the other people from our church showed up, and Kristi and I decided we had enough time. (It was 10 o'clock, and we didn't think they would start letting people into the how until 10:30 or so. Wrong!)

My friend and I went staight to the ride we decided to go on, (it was right by the line for the show)and got on (there wasn't a line). When the ride ended we decided to go on it again, so we started to run and get in line again. On the way to the line, Kristi and I noticed that the line for the concert was moving! We ran to the front of the line, but our group was already past the security gaurds! They were sending people back for cutting in line. Luckily, we found someone we knew in line, and went in with them.

Our group had saved us a seat as close as they could, but it was no where near close enough to throw the skittle on stage without them bursting. So, Kristi and I took the Skittle to down as close to the stage (as we could get) and asked the Stage Crew guy if he could possibly give the band the Skittles. He said he didn't know idea he was allowed, but that he would try.

Later in the show, Matt made a commont about Skittles. We hope he was talking about the Skittles we had given the band!
