In every book there is a new Defense .. Arts teacher
The subject of the title in every book always refers to something previously unknown (PS - philosphers stone; CoS - chamber; PoA - Sirius Black; Gof - Triwizard Tournament; OotP - anti voldy- group)
using these two facts - consider:
what if jk gave us the title because she knew we cud never guess hu the HBP is because weve not met him yet - he is the new DODA teacher
this could tie in with the fact that HBP was originally goin to b the title for book 2, which was edited - maybe in early drafts, lockhart ( who doesnt have that major a role as far as the storyline goes) was not actually the DODA teacher but the teacher in book6 was goin to b in book 2 instead - i think this is a very possible theory
