I have to read Tuck Everlasting for class. So far the book is really good, though I haven't gotten that far. I'll tell you more when I finish.

It's just so poetic.
I luv this book, it's probably the best one I've read this year!!!!!
Winnie wanted to run away b/c she was tired of being told what to do all of the time. The man in the yellow suit amazed the constable by informing him that he was able to get the Fosters to sell their woods to him. The tucks learned about winnie that she had died two years previously.
Posted by: Jenna on April 20, 2004 02:48 PMDoes anybody know why winnie wanted to run away, how did the man in the yellow suit amaze the constable, and what did the tucks learn about Winnie?
Posted by: Buddha on April 19, 2004 03:21 PMcan you type me the whole book and e-mail it to me?
Posted by: Sarah King on April 17, 2004 11:55 AMThis book is very good so far. We havent finished it in school yet but we are getting there. I wish they had the book online so i could read it and do my homework though.
Posted by: Heather on April 5, 2004 12:46 PMTuck Everlasting is full of symbolism. For example, the man in the yellow suit verses the lighning bug in chapter four. Everlasting friendship verses the spring water. What is life if it is one lived alone? This book represents life in every cycle. Babbit wrote a very unique and well put together tale.
Posted by: Buntin on March 29, 2004 10:17 AMI LOVED this book. I read it in 4th grade and am writeing a review on it. It was amazing and adults and kids alike will be transfixed.
