Common gene in runners

Scientist found two common genes in fast runners. (One long distance, one short.) This may be part of the reason why some people can run quick short distances and/or long distances.

Though they do say that just because you have one of these genes doesn't mean your a fast runner. They also say you can be fast without this gene.
