Right now, I'm working on reading an excellent seires by Meg Cabot. I'm on the 3rd book, Princess in Love. I really enjoying reading the books.
Princess Diaries is the first book in the series, where Mia Thermopolis, a high school girl, finds out about that she is the princess of a small country, Genovia. I had watched the Princess Diaries movie before reading this book, and was suprised by how different the movie and books were, for example, the movie takes place in San Francisco, but the book is set in New York. I think that most young women would enjoy reading the first book, Princess Diaries.
Princess in the Spotlightis the second book in the series, where Mia finds out her mother is pregnant. Although I thoght this book was really interesting, I didn't like the idea, that Mia's mom was going to have another baby, without being married, agian, even if she was going to get married. They probably didn't make this book into a movie, because it wouldn't be a good example for young children, who would possibly watch the movie.
Princess in Love is the third book, and the one I'm reading. In this book, Mia, has her first boyfriend, Kenny, the only problem is, she doesn't really like Kenny, she likes someone else. This book tied with the first as my favorite in this series, because in both you can't stop reading. In the first, you are always wondering, "Is she going to accept the job of princess, or not?" and in the third book you are always wondering if she is going to breakup with Kenny and go for the person she likes, or not.

Posted by: olivia on June 20, 2004 01:47 PMby the way, i like my self proclamed nick-name the Prince of Naval Aviation, because i got it off of the Princess Diaries, and i love the Navay, and the name Prince. thanks, God bless, bye
sup yall. Hey, im a male, a stright male, trust me. But i loved The Princess Diaries Series. Im not on 5 yet but i have read the others. I was sas to see that the movie was diffrent from the book, but i was happy to see Mia anyway. Thanks to the books and the movie, i totaly have a huge crush on Anne Hathaway (Mia, in the Princess Diaries Series 1 and 2) Thanks Ms. Cabot, i love you so much for writing the series. Thank God for creating such a writer. Being a black 15 year old male, even though this has nothing to do with the books, i really enjoy the series. I love Mia, and all of the situations she goes through. The books are so freaking funny. Please keep writing the stories Ms. Cabot. Id love to see what a beautiful woman Mia turns out to be. If i were in the book, i would ask Mia to be my girlfriend. When of if i ever get one, i pray to the Lord she'll be as cool and funny as Mia. Mia and i have some things in common, like we are both shy about who we like, we both dont like publicly displaying or talking about our sexuality. I just hope i can find a girl like her. Well, thanks Ms. Cabot, love you and all the rest of the world and the fans. Keep writing, thanks and God bless you all.
Posted by: Christian on June 14, 2004 06:38 PMHI, I'm sophomore in high school. I first heard about Meg Cabot's books when I brought the movie "Princess Diaries" and seen that it was based on the a book. I love movie and thought I should check out the book. I went to my local library and they had it.
I love Meg Cabot's Books. She write in certain way that grabs you and it makes you feel like you can't get enough. So you read and read until you finish the book. I love books that do that to you.
Right now, I have finished Volume 4 of the Princess Diaries series and have read American Girl. I'm waiting for my local library to get Volume 4 1/2 and 5. I bet they're as good as as the others. I can't wait to read them.
Oh, I can't wait until the second Princess Diaries movie come out into theaters.
I really like the volume 3...I only read the part of 'Mia Goes Fourth' just bcause i will have my exams soon.....I have to reivise for my exams.... but I am looking forward to reading your books.I go to 'page one' in Hong Kong, and i can't find the 'six appeal'.

Posted by: pink on May 29, 2004 02:16 AMThese are seriously the best books I have read. And don't get me wrong. I have read A LOT of books. If Meg Cabot ( sorry for spelling your name wrong before!!!) stops writing these books at book 5, I think I will drop a globe on my head like Boris ( Hahaha But I am not kidding). Book 5 was a little sexual, turned Michael into more of a jerkish character, and was anti- Christian. I mentioned all of this in my last email. I really liked Michael, and still do a little bit, but I would rather you make him nicer again. Make him more with his feet on the ground like before, not making out in closets with her and touching her bra. Also, maybe they could go to church, or just not say foul things about Christianity? I would appreciate all these things in volume VI (6).
Also, the Frenching part is fine, they can stick their tongues in eachothers mouths whenever they want. Do it a lot! I don't care! But making out in that closet and having him touch her breasts almost, but wanting to if he could? Ew! All in all these are awesome books.
And, I really loved the ending to volume 4. It was so cute!!!
Posted by: PrincessDiariesRulz!!!!!! on May 27, 2004 11:19 AMThe Pricess Diaries Series is SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO awesome!!! Please, Meg Cabot, write more! I am soooo in love with Michael Moscovitz!!!! He sounds so HOT!!!!! When they played, " Seven Minutes In Heaven", it sounded so gross in there! And the Michael was like touching her bra and stuff at the prom, it was so GROSS!!!!!! I've read all five in order, and I have to say 4 was the best. 5 was a little sexual, if you ask me. Please, write her all the way to high school, Meg Cabote!! I'm begging you! ( Plus, in book five, Michael started turning into a, I don't know, someone less nice and it had a lot of mean stuff about Christianity, my religion. That is okay though, the other books sooo make up for it!!!)
Posted by: Meg Cabot on May 27, 2004 10:40 AMIm certainly not a princess and my father is certainly no Prince of Genovia, or anywhere.
But Hopefully when I grow up I will be like Mia Thermopolis. Normal flat-chested girl one day, Princess of Genovia the next! JOKING!
I havent read all the books yet since they are always out but I've just borrowed 2 and Im going to borrow the next 2 next week at the library!
MEG CABOT YOU HAVE ONE CREATIVE MIND I WILL NEVER HAVE EVEN IF I TRIED MY BEST!

Posted by: MEG CABOT on January 4, 2004 01:56 PMI've read all four and Princess Lessons, not really in the series but it has Mia in it. The next one comes out in March and is called Princess in Pink.
Posted by: I forgot on January 2, 2004 09:42 PMAlso, (one last thing), in the books,or at least in book IV, Genovia's major crop productions were olives and in the movie, they were pears. this got me confused. I'm trusting the books.
Posted by: Notgivingmyname on December 7, 2003 09:01 AMI've read all books... including books 4 and 4 1/2. I really like them and think they're great! They're a good series for young teenage girls, becuase that's around the age Mia is. In the 4 th book, (I'm not giving away the ending!!!) Mia needs to find her secret talent. I think that all girls who read the book should find their own secret talent, and that's Meg Cabot's goal.
Posted by: Notgivingmyname on December 7, 2003 08:56 AMI love the princess diaries books they are good. I have read them all. NUmber 4 is my favorite, I like the star wars part......you have to read it to get it!!! I can't wait till number 5. Does anyone know when it comes out??
