The Thief Lord

While on spring vacation, Bird, and I listened to books on tape. One of the books we listened to was "The Thief Lord". We really enjoyed it, and I thought I might recommend it to you.

The Theif Lord is a story about 2 boys, who lost their mother. After they lost thier mother, their aunt, decided she wanted to adopt Bo,the younger one. Of cource Prosper, the older one wasn't happy about that, and convinced his younger brother to run away with him, to Venice,Italy.

You can read about how at first the two boys live alone, and then how they find a group of friends just like them, or so they think. You can also find out about a mysterical item, that was stolen, but not completly. The group of friends must chose to steal for money, or live their life as they have been.

I would give this book 5 stars. The Thief Lord keeps you on your toes, through the whole book.

I really enjoyed the book, The Theif Lord. Its one of my favorites! My favorite character is Scipio..I wish he didn't get on the carosel tho.I really hope they make a movie about it, i would definetly buy a ticket.Oh i have a question : would u be angry if u were prosper,bo, riccio, hornet,or mosca and u found out scipio had lied to u? : j/w cuz i didn't see y they were so upset w/ him. I mean he wasnt an orphan but at least he gave them shelter, clothes, and food. Well thats just my opinion.

I don't to comment you about the thief lord I want to comment about Inkheart. I thought it was going to be the same as The thief lord, bu it wasn't. It was better. The characters in the story are fully developed unlike J. k Rowling. Your book had everything. Humour,Action,Adventure etc. I really enjoyed an I hope you get my email
Best Wishes
Alejo

P.S: What do you have to do to publish a book?

I read The Thief Lord as a literature circles project not too long ago; and I finished it in a flash. Not only was the story plot amazing, but Cornelia Funke's words also painted vivid images within my imagination; also adding an extra delight of Italian here and there. I'd have to say that if you are looking for a good read, and an adventurous, suspence-filled book, to read The Thief Lord.
